Cookie Policy

Last updated: June 12, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how DocChase, operated by SC Delirium Development SRL (VAT: RO40159995, Romania), uses cookies and similar technologies on docchase.app.

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how you use the site.

2. Cookies We Use

2.1 Essential Cookies (Strictly Necessary)

These cookies are required for the Service to function. They cannot be disabled.

2.2 Analytics

We use PostHog (hosted in the EU) for product analytics. By default it measures visits anonymously, without cookies: nothing is stored on your device, no identifier follows you between visits, and your IP address is discarded after a rough location is derived. If you accept analytics in our consent banner, PostHog stores data in your browser's local storage so we can recognize you across visits and, for logged-in users, link usage events to your account. If you decline, we stop analytics entirely. You can withdraw your consent at any time. We also use Vercel Analytics, a cookie-free service that collects anonymous, aggregated statistics (page views, referrers, device type) without tracking individuals across sites.

2.3 Third-Party Cookies

We do not use third-party advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking technologies. When you interact with Stripe for payment, Stripe may set its own cookies on its domain during checkout. These are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.

2.4 Local Storage

We also use your browser's local storage, a technology similar to cookies. The entry docchase-analytics-consent remembers your analytics choice. Only if you accept analytics, PostHog stores analytics data under entries starting with ph_. Declining or withdrawing consent removes the PostHog data.

3. Cookies We Do Not Use

  • No advertising or marketing cookies
  • No cross-site tracking
  • No social media pixels (Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • No fingerprinting or device identification beyond essential session management

4. Managing Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. However, blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing into DocChase.

5. Do Not Track

DocChase does not track individual users across websites, so there is no cross-site tracking to disable. In addition, our browser analytics respects Do Not Track (DNT) signals: if your browser sends DNT, PostHog will not capture analytics events even if you have accepted analytics.

6. Changes to This Policy

If we introduce new cookies beyond what is listed here, we will update this policy and notify you through the Service.
